Fulham youngster named one of Europe’s top prospects alongside Man Utd star

Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon has been marked out as one of the top teenage talents in Europe by an Italian newspaper.

Gazzetta Dello Sport included the 16-year-old left-back in their annual list of the best under-20 players across the continent.

Roehampton-born Sessegnon is 26th on the 30-strong list, ahead of Everton’s Tom Davies and Real Madrid’s Norwegian prospect Martin Odegaard.

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is the only other English player included, in fourth, with Borussia Dortmund’s Ousmane Dembele leading the way.

Gazzetta highlighted the fact Sessegnon had always played with those three years older than him, and praised his technique, fearlessness and crossing ability.

He has made 18 appearances for the Whites, scoring four times.
