Fulham missed out on pre-deadline signing of striker

Fulham failed in an attempt to sign striker Aboubakar Kamara from Amiens in the closing hours of the transfer window.

Whites boss Slavisa Jokanovic had wanted to bring in the 21-year-old, who has scored eight goals in 19 games in the French second tier.

But the deal for the former Monaco youngster collapsed, leaving Ivorian forward Cyriac as their sole addition on deadline day.

It leaves Fulham one player lighter up front, after the departures of Matt Smith to QPR and Cauley Woodrow, on loan, to Burton Albion.
