Bettinelli passed fit for Preston game

Soccer - Sky Bet Championship - Fulham v Bolton Wanderers - Craven Cottage

Goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli has been passed fit to return to the Fulham squad for Saturday’s game at Preston.

Bettinelli has been unavailable for the Whites’ first two matches this season because of a hamstring problem.

But the 24-year-old trained on Thursday morning and is back in contention.

He is expected to replace Jesse Joronen on the substitutes’ bench at Deepdale, with summer signing David Button continuing in goal after an impressive start to his Whites career following his summer move from Brentford.

Ryan Fredericks remains sidelined after having ankle surgery.
