Fulham hit back to draw with Hertha Berlin

Adam Taggart and Cauley Woodrow hauled Fulham back from two goals down as they drew with Hertha Berlin in Austria on Wednesday.

Kit Symons’ men got off to a dreadful start by conceding twice in the opening 15 minutes.

Vladimir Darida put the Bundesliga side in front early on before Cameron Burgess gave away a penalty for pushing at a corner, the spot-kick then converted by Jens Hegeler.

On 30 minutes, Fulham pulled a goal back. Woodrow’s header was superbly saved by Hertha keeper Thomas Kraft, but from the resulting corner Taggart pounced after headers from Ryan Tunnicliffe and Burgess.

Midway through the second half, Hertha’s Roy Beerens saw a shot kept out by Marcus Bettinelli and within five minutes, the Whites were level as Woodrow found the net from 25 yards out.
