Fulham eye loan deals ahead of deadline

Fulham will look to strengthen their squad before the loan window closes on November 27.

Manager Kit Symons is especially keen to strengthen his midfield and would also like to offload some of the club’s fringe players.

Symons said: “I’m constantly looking. The clock is ticking on the [loan] window.

“I will always look if we can bring someone if they improve us but they’ve got to be better quality and the right character because the dynamic of the group is very important.

“Sometimes it’s just as important to keep the wrong person out of the building as it is to bring the right person in.

“We have got a big squad of players so potentially there could be outgoings too, but I’m not expecting any of our regular starters to be going anywhere.”

Meanwhile, Symons has said he is relishing the prospect of a west London derby against neighbours Brentford at Griffin Park on Friday evening.
