Fulham edged out in Austria friendly

Fulham’s pre-season campaign continued with a 1-0 loss against Eintracht Frankfurt in Irdning, Austria.

Haris Seferovic’s 38th-minute goal was enough to give the German side the win, although Fulham were unlucky not to equalise in the final minute when Shaun Hutchinson’s header was cleared off the line.

Summer signings Andy Lonergan, Jazz Richards, Jamie O’Hara, Tom Cairney and Ben Pringle featured for the Whites.

So too did Lasse Vigen Christensen, who is fit again having missed the final couple of months of last season with a hamstring injury.
