Everton youngster joins Fulham on loan

Fulham have signed England Under-21 left-back Luke Garbutt on a season-long loan from Everton.

The 22-year-old has made 12 first-team appearances for the Toffees since making his debut in the Premier League in April 2014.

These games included five in last season’s Europa League, playing against the likes of Wolfsburg and Dynamo Kiev.

He has also had loan spells at Cheltenham Town and Colchester United.

Garbutt told Fulham’s official website: “I spoke to the manager and the staff here and I liked what they had to say and their plans for me this season. They’ve shown their faith and trust in me.

“I’m really looking forward to working with the boys and obviously the main objective is to get promoted this season.”
