West Ham interested in Whites boss Jokanovic

West Ham are interested in Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic.

Manager Slaven Bilic is under pressure after a troubled first season for the Hammers at the London Stadium.

The club are assessing potential replacements for the Croatian, whose side are 14th in the Premier League table.

And Jokanovic, who has transformed Fulham into promotion contenders, is on their radar despite recently signing a new contract at Craven Cottage following interest from Spanish club Malaga.

The 48-year-old guided Watford to promotion to the top flight in 2015 but left that summer after failing to agree a new contract.

He returned to English football with Fulham six months later after a short spell at Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Whites were 18th in the Championship table.

They initially continued to struggle, finishing in 20th place, and West London Sport revealed last August that Jokanovic was at odds with the Fulham hierarchy over the club’s transfer policy, which he later confirmed.

However, it has been a very different story this season, with Fulham – bolstered by a major overhaul of the squad – just one place outside the play-off spots with five matches remaining.
