Stekelenburg leaves Fulham for Everton

Stekelenburg faces an uncertain future this summer

Goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has left Fulham and joined Everton for an undisclosed fee.

The 33-year-old last played for the Whites in March 2014, and has since had loan spells with Monaco and Southampton.

At Goodison Park he will again play under Ronald Koeman, who signed him for the Saints last summer.

Stekelenburg. who played for the Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup final, joined Fulham from Roma in June 2013 when compatriot Martin Jol was in charge.

He made 21 appearances for the Whites that season before spending the next two campaigns out on loan.
