QPR v Leeds United reaction: Brian McDermott says Leeds should have won

Leeds United boss Brian McDermott felt his side had enough chances to have won at QPR.

Jermaine Jenas’ equaliser secured a 1-1 draw for Rangers following a goal by Ross McCormack, who earlier missed a penalty.

McDermott said: “They scored just before half-time and that was disappointing from our point of view. We could have been 2-0 or 3-0 up.

“Before the game we would have taken a point, but the way the game panned out we could have won.

“It’s a point gained though and I just want positivity around us. I certainly won’t look at that as a missed opprtunity.”
