‘He just can’t take it!’ – Allardyce mocks Mourinho after derby draw

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce gleefully hit back at Jose Mourinho’s comments about his team following the goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea manager Mourinho claimed the Hammers played “football from the 19th century” when defending doggedly to pick up a point.

And Allardyce gave a good-natured response, declaring: “He just can’t take it because we outwitted him! He just can’t cope!”

He added: “I love to see Chelsea players moaning at the ref and Jose jumping up and down. It’s brilliant when you get a result against him. I love Jose.

“Tactically we got it right. We stopped Hazard, Oscar, Willian and Eto’o and we stopped Chelsea at set-plays. On both counts we nulified them.”

However, Allardyce revealed he expects Joey O’Brien to be sidelined for some time after the defender suffered a dislocated shoulder.
