Chelsea reportedly open to Torres loan move if they can land striker

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is looking to send Fernando Torres out on loan and sign either Radamel Falcao or Diego Costa, reports in Italy claim.

Tuttosport suggest Torres could end up at Inter Milan on loan if Chelsea are able to capture one of their transfer targets in the summer.

Monaco striker Falcao has long been of interest to the Blues, while Torres has also been linked with a return to his former club Atletico Madrid as part of an exchange deal involving Costa.

Tuttosport also reports that Samuel Eto’o would welcome a return to Inter, where he had a two-year spell before leaving Italy in 2011.

The veteran forward, whose Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season, has this week been linked with a possible move back to the San Siro.
