Reports: Chelsea want Everton star and Ramires could leave the Bridge
Chelsea want to sign Everton prospect John Stones, according to the Daily Star Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Mail On Sunday say Mourinho will pick a strong line-up for today’s key Premier League game against leaders Liverpool despite previously suggesting he would field a weakened team.
He is tipped to start with Mark Schwarzer, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic but save Willian, Oscar and Fernando Torres for Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid.
The Sunday Mirror claim Chelsea are plotting a £20m move for Juventus’ Arturo Vidal.
Chile midfielder Vidal, 26, has been touted as a potential replacement for Frank Lampard and it is also suggested that Ramires may be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The Sunday Mirror also say Blues assistant manager Rui Faria could be disciplined by the club for his touchline outburst against Sunderland because owner Roman Abramovich is concerned about Chelsea’s image.
