Reports: Berbatov keen on Spurs return and Norwich want Holtby

Norwich City are trying to sign Lewis Holtby from Tottenham, according to The Sun.

Fulham have been tipped to sign the midfielder on loan, but it is claimed that Canaries boss Chris Hughton has launched a pre-deadline bid to take him to Carrow Road for the rest of the season.

The Daily Mirror, on the other hand, say Fulham have already sealed the signing of Holtby on loan with a view to an £8m permanent move in the summer.

The Daily Telegraph say Dimitar Berbatov hopes to return to Spurs before today’s deadline, perhaps as part of a deal that sees Holtby move to west London.

A number of clubs have been linked with Fulham’s Bulgarian forward – the Telegraph suggest Galatasary are interested – but he is known to be keen on a move back to White Hart Lane, where he had a two-year spell before being sold to Manchester United in 2008.

Berbatov’s agent Emil Danchev has apparently based himself in London for the day in the hope of striking a late deal with Spurs.

Berbatov is set to leave Fulham and a return to Tottenham is a possibility, according to the Daily Mail.

The Mail say Fulham have made a bid for Manchester United youngsters Larnell Cole and Ryan Tunnicliffe, are discussing a loan move for Sporting Lisbon’s Argentina defender Marcos Rojo and may yet table another bid for West Ham’s Ravel Morrison.

It also seems that Fulham will listen to offers for Hugo Rodallega before the window closes.
