Reports: Arsenal want Blues target and Man City want Chelsea youngster

Manchester City are keen on Chelsea youngster Andreas Christensen, it is claimed.

The Sunday People say the Danish defender, 18, wants first-team football and that City are waiting to pounce.

A source said to be close to Christensen is quoted as saying: “Andreas wants to be playing and stretching himself more.

“There is a problem coming and it is not about money – it is purely about his football career.”

Meanwhile, the Sunday Mirror say Arsenal are set to compete with Chelsea for the signing of Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.

It is claimed that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is monitoring the situation and wants to pair Costa with Olivier Giroud.

Bayern Munich forward Mario Mandzukic is again linked with a move to Chelsea, this time by the Daily Star Sunday.

And there continues to be speculation over the futures of Eden Hazard and Oscar, with the Sunday Telegraph suggesting that at least one of them will leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is said to have told Hazard, Oscar and Andre Schurrle that they must improve or face being sold.
