QPR linked with ex-Chelsea man Ba along with West Brom

QPR want to sign Demba Ba from Besiktas, the Sunday People say.

New West Brom boss Tony Pulis is said to be keen to bring the former Chelsea striker back to the Premier League.

And it is claimed that Rangers are also interested but that the transfer fee and Ba’s wages would be a problem for them.

Ba would apparently cost more than £5m and it has been widely claimed that QPR are unable to spend money during this month’s transfer window.

Pulis, on the other hand, is reportedly ready to make a move to sign Ba before the deadline.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Mirror say Chelsea are set to scrap Marco van Ginkel’s season-long loan at AC Milan.

The midfielder has struggled to hold down a first-team place in Italy and the Blues are reportedly keen to send him elsewhere on loan.

It comes after Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi was recently quoted as saying: “A decision will be made. He knows I can’t assure him playing time.”

And The Sun on Sunday reports that former Chelsea star Frank Lampard, now with Manchester City, has been criticised by some Blues fans on the club website’s forum.
