QPR are improving but we just can’t see them surprising Chelsea this time

QPR won on their last visit to Stamford Bridge but this is a different Chelsea and Harry Redknapp’s side are a whopping 18/1 with BetVictor to win there this time around.charlie-mcCann_Aff

It is more than three years since a side in the relegation zone won at the home of the Premier League leaders and it would be a massive shock if Rangers ended that sequence.

Chelsea are 2/11 to beat their west London neighbours, while even a draw is 7/1.

The Blues have only conceded four goals in their last 12 Premier League games at home and one of the most popular bets in the opening exchanges on the game has been the 31/40 for the hosts to win to nil.

Didier Drogba rolled back the years at Old Trafford last weekend and is 7/2 to open the scoring and 8/11 to score for the fourth successive game.

QPR’s win against Aston Villa was richly deserved but they still didn’t play as well as they did against Liverpool eight days earlier.

Redknapp has lost just one of his last six games against Chelsea but the R’s boss knows anything he gets from this one would be a bonus as his team fight to maintain their top-flight status.

Rangers are still 10/11 to stay up at the end of the season. But with Manchester City and a rejuvenated Newcastle to come before the visit of Leicester at the end of the month, November could be difficult for them.

Be lucky.
