Chelsea and Liverpool reportedly set to miss out on Brazilian midfielder

Jorginho, a transfer target for Chelsea according to Talksport, is reportedly closing in on a move to Napoli.

Liverpool are also said to be keen on the Brazilian midfielder, who has impressed for Verona this season and been linked with several European clubs.

Italian press reports suggest Jorginho, 22, will stay in Serie A and that talks between Verona and Napoli took place over the weekend.

The player is tipped to complete a £6.2m transfer, supposedly disappointing the two Premier League clubs.

Meanwhile, Sky are reporting that Fulham’s Bryan Ruiz has been undergoing a medical ahead of his expected move to PSV Eindhoven.
