Reports say Blues could sign Rabiot and QPR are interested in Mudingay

Paris St-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot could join Chelsea or Arsenal in January, the Express claim.

Roma have denied reports they have agreed a deal to sign Rabiot, 19, from the French club.

Apparently that will give the Blues, who are said to be interested, renewed hope of signing him when the transfer window reopens.

Mehdi Benatia, who was also linked with a move to Stamford Bridge last month, has said that Chelsea were among the clubs he rejected before recently signing for Bayern Munich from Roma.

The defender told German magazine kicker: “Manchester City and Chelsea wanted me, while there were also approaches from Real Madrid and Barcelona.”

Meanwhile, reports in Italy say QPR are interested in 32-year-old Belgian midfielder Gaby Mudingay, who is looking for a new club after leaving Inter Milan.

Clubs can sign free agents outside of the transfer window but Rangers have already submitted their 25-man squad to the Premier League.
