Blues linked with Stones, speculation over Bees and QPR stars

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea, QPR and Brentford…

Chelsea have been told they must pay close to £30m to land Everton defender John Stones, the Daily Mail claims.

The Blues are said to be looking for a centre-back and have also apparently been quoted a price of £13m for Stuttgart’s Antonio Rudiger.

Reports in Germany, picked up by the Daily Star, suggest Chelsea have already lodged a bid of £12.8m for Rudiger, amid rumoured competition from both Wolfsburg and Porto.

Radamel Falcao has signed a contract to join the Blues on loan from Monaco, according to reports in his native Colombia.

And Catalan tabloid Sport claims Chelsea are one of three clubs to put in formal offers for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

It believes the Blues’ bid is £35.5m plus Oscar, but says Barcelona (£56.8m) and Manchester City (£71m) have also made bids for the Frenchman.

Meanwhile, reports in the United States suggest Marko Marin will leave Chelsea to join MLS side Sporting Kansas City.

Inter Milan are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi, according to the Daily Mail.

It says Inter have identified Mikel, 28, as a possible back-up option should they fail to land Felipe Melo from Galatasaray.

A number of newspapers report that Chelsea have had a bid for goalkeeper Asmir Begovic rejected by Stoke.

Italian media reports suggest the Blues and Inter are moving towards a deal for Juan Cuadrado to move to the San Siro on loan from Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Everton are looking to sign Brentford wide-man Moses Odubajo, Goal.com claim.

Odubajo impressed as his side challenged for promotion last season and is now being touted for a move to the Premier League.

Andre Gray has also been linked with a move, with the Hull Daily Mail reporting that Hull City are interested in the Bees striker.

It follows recent reports that Gray is a target for QPR, who have not made a move to sign him.

There has also been speculation over the future of Brentford playmaker Jota, with Swansea City among the clubs reported to be interested.

And according to media reports in the Netherlands, Bafana Bafana midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo has rejected a move to Griffin Park from FC Twente.

Reports in Spain suggest that Sevilla are interested in QPR midfielder Leroy Fer.

Finally, the Daily Express pick up on recent reports that West Brom want Charlie Austin.

QPR are still yet to receive an approach for striker Austin despite reported interested from several clubs.
