Fulham v Huddersfield player ratings

Substitute Cauley Woodrow’s stoppage-time equaliser saw Fulham avoid a third straight Championship defeat. Here’s how we rated the Whites players in their 1-1 draw with Huddersfield.

Andy Lonergan: 8
Made five good saves in the game, especially when he tipped round the post to deny Nahki Wells a second goal late on. Fulham want Cardiff’s Joe Lewis to stand in for the injured Marcus Bettinelli, but Lonergan deserves to play on the back of this performance.

Jazz Richards: 6
Defensively Richards did okay but he needs to offer a better outlet on the outside of Tom Cairney.

Dan Burn: 6
Made some good interceptions and almost scored a header from a corner.

Shaun Hutchinson: 6
Looked fine in the opening stages and even threatened with a shot from distance but he was taken off injured in the first half after a blow to the head.

Kay Voser: 6
Works hard and has a lot of energy but has not yet found his feet in English football. He was caught out by Harry Bunn, who he let get inside him to provide the cross for Nahki Wells to score.

Tom Cairney: 6
Largely had a quiet game but almost scored the equaliser with a well-struck free-kick towards the top corner late on.

Jamie O’Hara: 7
O’Hara looks to be a shrewd signing. Similar to Scott Parker, he has a great engine and a wise head. He was the pivot in Fulham’s midfield but his passing can be erratic at times.

Lasse Vigen Christensen: 6
The youngster shows potential but he failed to make incisive passes, with Huddersfield able to shut him down in midfield and limit his effectiveness.

Alex Kacaniklic: 6
Made a good, direct, attacking run in the first half that helped drag his team up the field and showed what a dangerous player he can be, but ultimately he disappointed with a lack of creativity.

Ross McCormack: 6
Appears short of his usual sharpness, especially in the box, where he struggled to find space and offer an option for a chance to be created.

Moussa Dembele: 5
The youngster clearly has talent but he struggled to get into the game and when his chance came, unmarked and from close range, he was unable to apply the finish.

Nikolay Bodurov: 5
Shaky. And likely to fall down the pecking order following Fulham’s signing of Tim Ream.

Cauley Woodrow: 7
Whereas Dembele looked startled, Woodrow showed great composure to volley in the equaliser for his side at the death.
