A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Chelsea’s Willian for Manchester United and the player would be keen to link up with his former boss, The Sun claim.

Ex-Chelsea manager Mourinho, who is set to take over at United, was recently tipped to move for Blues midfielder Nemanja Matic.

And comments by Willian have led to the Brazilian now being linked with a potential move to Old Trafford.

Speaking in Los Angeles, where Brazil are preparing for the Copa America, Willian said: “Jose is one of the most successful coaches in the world and Manchester United will be stronger with him as manager.

“I played some of my best football under Mourinho. He is a special coach and I have a great relationship with him.

“Winning the Premier League with him was one of the highlights of my career. I was sad things didn’t work out after that.”

Meanwhile, QPR have been linked with Ivorian defender Franck Kessié along with Southampton.

It comes after both clubs had a scout watching a play-off game involving Cesena, where Kessié, 19, is on loan from Atalanta.
