Transfer gossip: Clubs linked with Feruz, speculation over Remy and Hazard

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Swansea City are interested in signing Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz on loan, the Daily Mirror say.

The 20-year-old former Celtic striker is also being linked with Bournemouth and Derby.

Meanwhile, Loic Remy is in line for a return to Newcastle, the Shields Gazette believe.

Aston Villa are keen to sign Remy and he has also been linked with the Magpies and Crystal Palace.

The Sun and the Daily Mail say Chelsea are reluctant to let Remy, who spent a season on loan at Newcastle prior to joining the Blues from QPR, leave during this month’s transfer window.

But the Shields Gazette say Chelsea are willing to allow the French striker to go on loan.

Comments by new Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane have led to more speculation that they could table a big-money offer for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

Zidane is quoted as saying: “After Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to see him play.

“Do I see him going to Real Madrid? I love the player, that’s all I will say.”

The Daily Star therefore declare that Real are ready to launch a £100m bid for Hazard, while the Daily Mirror suggest this could lead to Chelsea signing Gareth Bale from the Spanish club.

And Sky Sports are reporting that Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have all asked to be kept informed of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy’s availability.
