More speculation over Salah and Liverpool fans want Cech

Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah has been linked with moves to Roma and Fiorentina.

The Egyptian has been the subject of transfer speculation after making just three brief substitute appearances in the league this season.

Talksport has picked up on a report from Roma’s radio station which suggests Salah has been offered to the Italian club.

But the Daily Star believes the 22-year-old former Basel star could end up at Fiorentina, to replace another on-loan Blues player in Marko Marin.

The German has struggled to hold down a place in the Viola side and the Star claims Chelsea would sell him to Wolfsburg.

Petr Cech is the number one transfer target for Liverpool fans, according to a poll.

A survey for the Liverpool Echo revealed the Chelsea keeper was top of Reds’ fans wishlist in January as the club searches for competition for Simon Mignolet.

The Daily Express quotes Inter Milan’s sporting director as saying the club may be forced to sell players if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Marco Fassone is said to believe summer exits are “inevitable” without Champions League football, which the Express believes is good news for Chelsea’s rumoured interest in striker Mauro Icardi.

Plus there is further speculation over Paul Pogba, with the Express claiming Juventus will increase the midfielder’s buyout clause to deter interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Fulham are reportedly one of three Championship clubs wanting to take former Chelsea centre-back Robert Huth on loan.

The Daily Mail claims Reading and Watford are also interested in the Stoke defender, who would apparently prefer a permanent move to another Premier League club.
