Chelsea’s Luis linked with possible return to Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid are eager to re-sign Chelsea’s Brazilian left-back Filipe Luis, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The 29-year-old defender only moved to England in the summer but has spent much of the season as Cesar Azpilicueta’s understudy.

And the Spanish side are said to be keen to take Luis back if Chelsea are prepared to let him leave.

Meanwhile, striker Loic Remy has again been linked with a possible move to Crystal Palace.

Remy, who has only started seven games for Chelsea since his summer transfer from QPR, previously played under Palace boss Alan Pardew at Newcastle.

The Daily Star say Pardew remains a fan of the 28-year-old and would like to sign him in the summer.

And there continues to be speculation that Chelsea could make a move for Paul Pogba.

The Express claim Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs prepared to pay around £50m for the Juventus midfielder.

It comes after Juve sporting director Giuseppi Marotta said there were “many suitors” for Pogba.

Marotta was also quoted as saying: “We do not want to open negotiations and we want him to stay with us.”
