Liverpool tipped to beat Blues to Alli deal, Taarabt touted for £4.3m move

Liverpool are reportedly set to sign highly-rated youngster Dele Alli from Milton Keynes Dons.

Alli, 18, has been monitored by several top clubs, including Chelsea, who made an approach for him in January this year and remain interested.

But Liverpool are being tipped sign him for £8m when the transfer window reopens and then loan him back to MK Dons for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, with Goal.com reporting that Manchester United are planning to table a £10m bid for Sami Khedira, the Express continue to suggest that Chelsea also want the Real Madrid midfielder.

It is claimed that the Blues will match United’s supposed bid.

The Express also claim Chelsea want forward Paco Alcacer, who seemingly plans to sign a new contract at Valencia.

Alcacer, 21, has been linked with a move to England but is quoted as saying: “Do not bother me with this story.

“I know what I want. When the time comes I will sign a renewal. When everything’s ready I’ll put the signature on the contract.”

And there continues to be speculation that Sampdoria could sign Adel Taarabt after his adviser Kia Joorabchian was this week quoted as saying the player may leave QPR in January, possibly for Serie A.

Genoa-based newspaper Il Secolo XIX say Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero is looking to sign Taarabt, who ended last season on loan at AC Milan, on an initial loan deal with a view to a €5.5m (around £4.3m) permanent move.
