Transfer gossip: Clubs monitoring Chelsea’s Christensen, Mail say

Chelsea are determined to keep Andreas Christensen amid interest from other clubs, the Daily Mail reports.

The Danish defender, 19, has impressed during a season-long loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach and the Bundesliga club’s sporting director Max Eberl has said they would like to sign him on a permanent deal.

The Mail have since declared that Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have been monitoring Christensen but that Chelsea will block any attempt to sign him.

Meanwhile, reports in Italy still claim that former Juventus defender Marco Motta could be in line for a move to QPR.

West London Sport revealed that Rangers had taken Motta on trial and later revealed that a short-term deal had been discussed but subsequently the right-back had been told he would not get the contract he wanted but can continue to train with the club.

However, reports in his native country have continued suggest that Motta, 29, could yet be given a contract at Loftus Road.
