Leicester tipped to table another offer for Rangers’ Austin

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR and Chelsea…

Leicester City are being tipped to table an improved offer for Charlie Austin.

QPR have rejected a £12m bid from the Foxes – the first offer they have received for striker Austin despite him being linked with several other clubs.

The Leicester Mercury reports that City are expected to increase their offer in an attempt to sign Austin, who is valued by Rangers at £15m.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail pick up on yesterday’s news that QPR have moved closer to signing Ravel Morrison.

Willian is the latest Chelsea player Juventus are reported to be interested in signing.

Juve have been linked with Oscar and more recently Mohamed Salah amid speculation that the Blues could part with a player in exchange for Paul Pogba.

The Daily Mirror now say Willian is also a target for the Italian club.

The Sun reports that Stoke want Victor Moses, Patrick Bamford or Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan from Chelsea as well as £8m for goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

Moses was on loan at Stoke last season, while youngsters Bamford and Loftus-Cheek have attracted interest from a number of clubs.

Baba Rahman’s agent has been trying to drum up interest among top English clubs in the Augsburg left-back.

Chelsea have been duly linked with him and there have been several reports that Manchester City and Arsenal are also interested, including in the Daily Express.

Chelsea have also been linked with Stuttgart’s Antonio Rudiger, but according to German media reports the defender would prefer to stay in the Bundesliga and join Wolfsburg.
