Italian media say Blues, Man Utd & Liverpool are battling to sign Icardi

A round-up of today’s transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea face competition from Manchester United and Liverpool for Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi after the striker turned down a new contract, Sky Sports Italia claim.

They say the 22-year-old, whose current deal runs out in 2018, could be available for around £22m.

Chelsea want to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, according to the Express.

Toure’s agent has previously been quoted as saying the 32-year-old is “90%” certain to leave City this summer and the Express claim Chelsea have joined the race to capture the Ivory Coast international.

Meanwhile, the Sun reports that teenage Turkey international striker Enes Unal is a Chelsea target.

The 18-year-old Bursaspor forward, who has one cap, has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the past.

The Daily Star say Wolfsburg have ruled out a return to the Premier League for former Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

De Bruyne, 21, joined the German Bundesliga side from the Blues in 2014 and the Star say he is wanted by Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.
