Chelsea linked with Italy forward

Chelsea have been linked with Italy forward Sebastian Giovinco.

The 27-year-old has appeared to cast doubt over his future at Juventus, which the Daily Star say is a boost for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, who are all supposedly interested in signing him.

Giovinco is out of favour at Juve and has made only one appearance for them so far this season.

“I’ll try to give my best, then we’ll see later this year if I will continue at Juventus. I hope so,” he is quoted as saying.

“The season has only just begun. I hope to be able to add my contribution.”

The Express continue to claim that Chelsea want Paris St-Germain’s Adrien Rabiot.

Reports in France suggest Rabiot has been offered a new contract, which is apparently a blow for the Blues, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have held talks with Roma over a potential deal for Petr Cech, according to Italian media reports.

It was reported this week that Roma are interested in the 32-year-old goalkeeer, who has been linked with a move after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois.

And Il Tempo say preliminary discussions between the two clubs over a possible move for Cech have progressed well.

On Friday, Goal.com reported that Chelsea had snubbed an approach from Fulham for back-up keeper Mark Schwarzer because of the apparent possibility that Cech will leave.
