Chelsea linked with Falcao, Fulham man tipped to join Boro

Chelsea and Liverpool are both keen on signing Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from Monaco in the summer, according to the Sun.

The 29-year-old has struggled to win a regular place during his loan spell with Manchester United and the Sun claim sources in Monaco say a similar loan deal with one of United’s rivals is being discussed for next season.

Meanwhile the Daily Star continue to link Chelsea and United with a move for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.

The Welshman’s car was attacked by angry Real fans as he left the club’s training ground following the El Classico defeat against Barcelona and there is more talk the former Tottenham star could be on his way back to the Premier League.

On Monday evening, Talksport picked up on a report in German newspaper Bild which suggested Bayern Munich will try to sign Branislav Ivanovic from Chelsea this summer.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that promotion-chasing Middlesbrough have agreed a deal to sign Fernando Amorebieta on loan from Fulham for the rest of the season with left-back James Husband moving to Craven Cottage.

Venezuelan-born centre-back, Amorebieta, 29, is tipped to join Boro after injuries to Daniel Ayala and Jonathan Woodgate.
