Blues again linked with Varane and agent denies Sandro could leave QPR

The Express have again linked Chelsea with a possible move for Real Madrid defender Raphaël Varane.

The French centre-back, 21, played under Blues boss Jose Mourinho at Real and has been long been touted as a Chelsea transfer target.

It is claimed that Varane is now considering his future and that Manchester United are also interested.

Meanwhile, Sandro’s agent has dismissed speculation that the midfielder could be set for a return to his native Brazil.

Sandro, plagued by injury problems before and since his summer move to QPR from Tottenham, was recently linked with a possible move back to his former club Internacional, who sold him to Spurs in 2010.

Luiz Paulo Chignall, who represents the player, is quoted in the Brazilian media as saying: “No one talked to me or with Sandro.

“A deal is difficult. He was only recently signed by Queens Park Rangers, who paid a very high fee for him.”
