Bayern Munich reportedly keen to sign Blues star Ivanovic

Bayern Munich want to sign Branislav Ivanovic, according to German newspaper Bild.

A report, subsequently picked up on by Talksport, claimed Bayern are hoping to buy the Serbian defender from Chelsea in the summer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to be linked with a move for Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi.

The Evening Standard reports that scouts from Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City watched Icardi on Sunday and suggests that all three clubs are considering him as a possible signing.

It follows reports in the Italian media that Atletico Madrid and a number of Premier League sides are keen on the 22-year-old Argentina international.

There have also been reports that contract talks between Icardi and Inter have stalled and that the Italian club could be willing to sell for around £22m if he does not sign a new deal.

The Blues have also been consistently linked with Paul Pogba.

Metro claim comments by Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta after his side won without the midfielder is a sign Pogba, who has a hamstring injury, could be sold and is therefore a boost for Chelsea.

Marotta is quoted as saying: “We are here celebrating a victory achieved by a team, a team that played without Pogba. This means football is a team sport and not just about individuals.”
