Spurs are tipped to target Remy

Tottenham will reportedly target QPR striker Loic Remy in the summer.

It is suggested in the Mail on Sunday that Spurs will attempt to sign the France striker following Ian Broomfield’s return to the north London club.

Broomfield was previously chief scout at Spurs and is working for them again after recently leaving a similar role at QPR.

He was instrumental in Rangers’ signing of Remy in January last year and previous attempts by Tottenham to capture the player from Marseille.

Remy, who is currently on loan at Newcastle, has also been linked with a possible move to Arsenal.

The Mail also suggest QPR may try to keep him if they manage to win promotion back to the Premier League this season.
