Speculation over future of QPR boss ahead of Man Utd clash

The Daily Mirror believe Harry Redknapp could be sacked if QPR lose at home to Manchester United on Saturday.

The Rangers boss’ future is back under the spotlight following the weekend defeat at Burnley.

And there is speculation that Redknapp could lose his job if his team are beaten in their next game

It is claimed he has lost support from some directors because of the signing of Rio Ferdinand and the manager’s public fall-out with Adel Taarabt.

Redknapp's team have lost all their away matches this season.

Meanwhile, recent comments by Taarabt in the Italian media have been picked up by the Daily Mail.

Taarabt says he has had contact with Italian clubs and suggested talks have taken place with Inter Milan.

This has been seen as confirmation that QPR are looking to sign Yann M’Vila on loan from Inter, where the French midfielder is on a season-long loan from Rubin Kazan.

And The Sun reports that Jermain Defoe is set to sign for Sunderland.

QPR have been looking to agree a deal with FC Toronto for the former Tottenham striker, who is keen to return to the Premier League.
