Reports: Spurs want Dawson swap and QPR are keen on Vargas
Tottenham are offering defender Michael Dawson as well as Andros Townsend in exchange for QPR striker Loic Remy, according to the Sun on Sunday.
It is claimed that Dawson is being offered to Rangers after forward Harry Kane, who had been linked with a swap deal, signed a new contract at White Hart Lane.

QPR have joined Arsenal in showing an interest in Napoli’s Chile international striker Eduardo Vargas, according to the Mail on Sunday.
And the Sunday People say Rangers are planning to offer Joey Barton a new contract worth £75,000 a week.
Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to be linked with Real Madrid’s Germany star Sami Khedira, with the Sunday Mirror reporting that his representatives are set to meet with the Blues and Arsenal in the coming days.
Real are said to be demanding a minimum of £12m for the 27-year-old midfielder.
The Mirror also say Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran is set to join Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan.
The People claim Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will demand a meeting with boss Jose Mourinho if he is not selected for Monday’s Premier League opener at Burnley.

And the Mail say Fulham are in talks with ex-Germany goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand, who is a free agent after leaving Schalke.

Tex – after a similar number of games we were trying to shift Bale to Nottingham Forest for £3m. Townsend needs to be coached. He has pace, power and can go past people. We are not blessed with many players who can do that. He has won a game or two for England. To get rid of a young talent would be ridiculous especially one who could be very good.

No I’ve heard that Tottenham are offering Dawson, Townsend, Eriksen, Lamela and Soldado for Remy. When I used to make up stories for a living mine had some semblance of reality. Townsend and Dawson for Remy – does the Sum really think their readers are that stupid. Actually don’t answer that question

Remy has a 11m buyout clause that we have already met but he wouldn’t agree terms as he wanted a top 4 club. Qpr was willing to pay 10m for Townsend and hull want Dawson for 4m. Are you that stupid that you think that levy would swap 14m of players for a 11m player that failed 2 medicals at Liverpool. Poch has stated that Townsend is in his plans and is not going anywhere. Get your facts right.
