QPR v Stoke is tough to call – and is Pardew heading to Fulham?

QPR welcome Stoke City for Saturday’s early kick-off and BetVictor can’t split the teams, making a win for either side 9/5 and the draw 21/10. It looks a game that could go either way.

Although Mark Hughes’ side turned over Manchester City at the Etihad, that is their only success of the new season and they, and their suspect defence, look worth taking on.

Loftus Road is sure to be rocking and Charlie Austin can inspire the home side to three precious points.

The R’s talisman is 5/1 favourite to score the first goal and 2/1 to score anytime.

Having lost at Nottingham Forest in midweek, managerless Fulham are now 9/2 to be playing League One football next season.

BetVictor made Fulham 9/1 fourth-favourites for the title after the capture of the Championship’s leading marksman Ross McCormack but they are now 100/1 outsiders to finish top of the table and 18/1 to bounce straight back up.

Blackburn head to Craven Cottage on Saturday and whilst form is temporary, class is permanent, and BetVictor make Fulham the 8/5 favourites to seal a first win of the season, Blackburn 7/4 and the draw 5/2.

As for who will be Felix Magath’s successor as Fulham’s manager, we make under-pressure Newcastle boss Alan Pardew the favourite.

Pardew is the 4/5 favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post and he has been backed into 3/1 (from 25s) with BetVictor for the Fulham job.

Next permanent Fulham manager:

Alan Pardew      3/1 (from 25s)
Chris Hughton   7/2
Kit Symons         4/1 (from 20s)
Tim Sherwood   6/1
Tony Pulis            8/1
Glenn Hoddle    8/1
Neil Lennon        14/1

Brentford remain the only side to have been beaten by Fulham all season but they continue to perform well in the Championship, moving into the top half with a 3-2 defeat of Brighton at the weekend.

Despite a 3-0 defeat to title favourites Norwich, the Bees remain in good nick and can leave Middlesbrough with a share of the spoils at the weekend.

Boro are our 3/4 favourites though, with Brentford 17/4 and the draw 13/5.

Be lucky.
