QPR again linked with Lennon and Slovenian defender Balazic

QPR have again been linked with out-of-favour Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon.

They did not make a move to sign him during the previous transfer window despite reports they were looking to take the 27-year-old to Loftus Road.

But the Mail on Sunday claim the club are competing with Stoke to sign Lennon, who played under Rangers boss Harry Redknapp at Spurs.

The north London club are said to be looking for £7m to sell him.

Rangers have again been linked with Slovenia defender Gregor Balazic.

The centre-back, 26, plays in Ukraine and with his contract due to expire at the end of December his representatives are trying to secure him a move to England and have been keen to drum up interest.

The Daily Star Sunday reckon QPR want him but face competition from their former manager Neil Warnock, who supposedly wants to sign him for Crystal Palace.

Another of Warnock’s former clubs, Leeds United, are also said to be interested.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Mirror have an interview with QPR’s Joey Barton, who says football saved him from a life of crime.
