News in brief: Saunders goal, Courtois shortlisted, QPR travel offer

Brentford
Sam Saunders scored and Montell Moore netted twice as the Bees’ development side beat Bristol City 5-1 on Monday. Raphael Calvet’s own goal had put City ahead but Brentford turned it around to go 3-1 up at the break, Moore netting a fine individual effort, Daniel O’Shaughnessy nodding in a corner and Saunders, who is working his way back to fitness, firing home a free-kick. In the second half, Jermaine Udamaga scored from the spot and Moore hit a cracking volley to round off the scoring.
