Liverpool and Arsenal tipped to battle for Cech, QPR linked with Kalas

There is more speculation today over the future of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Arsenal have been linked with the 32-year-old and it is suggested in the Mail on Sunday that the Gunners could face competition from Liverpool.

The Mail say Cech wants to quit Stamford Bridge after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois and that Chelsea are willing to sell him for £7m.

The Mail again claim that Chelsea will try to sign Real Madrid’s Germany midfielder Sami Khedira but that the Blues and Arsenal face missing out to Bayern Munich.

The Sunday People reckon QPR want to sign Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas on loan.

Czech centre-back Kalas, 21, was loaned to Cologne for the season but has struggled to get into the team and is said to be looking for a way out.

This has supposedly alerted Rangers, who are reported to believe that a deal may be possible.

It is claimed that they want Chelsea to recall the player and loan him to them in January. The Blues are apparently open to the move.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have again been linked with a move for Everton full-back Seamus Coleman.

The Mail say Chelsea are preparing to offer £20m and that Everton are looking at possible replacements for the Republic of Ireland star.

The Daily Star Sunday claim Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants Coleman in order to add more dynamism to his defence and is willing to offer £25m.
