Chelsea linked with teenage keeper

Chelsea are interested in signing teenage goalkeeper Mile Svilar, his father has suggested to Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.

The Daily Star say the Blues, Arsenal and Manchester United are keen on the 15-year-old, who is on Anderlecht’s books and is expected to sign a professional contract with them when he turns 16.

Ratko Svilar, a former Antwerp keeper, is quoted as saying: “He has trialled at Chelsea and Manchester United also enquired. Everyone wants him.

“But we already have an agreement with Anderlecht, even though he can’t sign a contract until his 16th birthday. There is nowhere better for him than Anderlecht.”

Meanwhile, the Express continue to suggest Chelsea are looking to sign Real Madrid’s former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

United and Manchester City are also said to be keen to bring the Portugal international, who played under Blues boss Jose Mourinho at Real, back to the Premier League.

Ronaldo, however, has said: “It’s all speculation, speaking about my future. My future is Madrid. I’m happy.

“The season is going well and I’m not talking about my future – it doesn’t make sense.”
