Spurs keeping Pritchard, Blues tipped to sign Kramaric, Taarabt speculation

The Mail reports that Tottenham have rebuffed Brentford’s attempt to sign midfielder Alex Pritchard on a permanent basis.

Pritchard is on a season-long loan from Spurs and the Bees have long planned to ask about the possibility of a deal in January.

But Brentford are also aware that the north London club are keen to give Pritchard every chance to make the grade with them and want to assess him during pre-season before deciding whether to let him leave.

The Mail also reports that Brentford are in talks to sign forward Lewis MacLeod from Glasgow Rangers.

Aston Villa, Burnley, Blackburn and Everton are reported to have watched the highly-rated 20-year-old in recent months.

Meanwhile, reports in the Italian media are again suggesting that AC Milan could sign Adel Taarabt.

The QPR outcast ended last season at the San Siro and his representatives have been trying to secure a permanent move there for him, but Milan have so far shown little interest.

And the Daily Star say Chelsea are on the verge of signing Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric from Rijeka for £6.3m

The Blues are said to be planning to send him on loan to either Leicester or Vitesse Arnhem for the rest of the season.
