Man Utd linked with Begovic and Juve are tipped to bid for Cuadrado

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea fear Manchester United could pip them to the signing of Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, the Mail on Sunday say.

The Blues are tipped to offer Stoke £8m and the Mail say Chelsea are concerned United could make a move for Begovic if keeper David De Gea leaves Old Trafford for Real Madrid.

The Mail also suggests Stoke want £10m for Begovic and that he still needs convincing that a move to Stamford Bridge, where he would be Thibaut Courtois’ deputy, is the best for his career.

Meanwhile, the Sunday People pick up on recent speculation that QPR striker Charlie Austin would prefer to stay in London.

Austin, it is claimed, is waiting to see if Chelsea come in for him and, if they do not, would favour a move to West Ham.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter Milan have offered Chelsea €20m (around £14.2m) for Mohamed Salah.

Elsewhere in the Italian media there are reports that Juventus are set to make an offer for Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado.
