More Pedro speculation, plus Fulham and Bees are tipped to make signings

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea, Fulham and Brentford…

Liverpool have joined Chelsea and Manchester United in a race to sign Barcelona winger Pedro, it is claimed.

The Daily Star, picking up on reports in Spain, suggests Liverpool could want Pedro to replace Raheem Sterling.

Chelsea may face a fight on their hands to sign left-back Adbul Baba Rahman, according to reports.

The Daily Express picks up on quotes in German tabloid Bild which suggest Augsburg do not want to sell their prized asset, who is widely tipped to replace Filipe Luis at Stamford Bridge.

Augsburg chairman Jonas Hoffman is quoted as saying: “We do not need the Baba millions. I am very optimistic that Baba will continue his great performances with us.”

Meanwhile, comments made by Jose Mourinho are interpreted by the Express as suggesting the Blues may not pursue Everton defender John Stones.

After having a first bid rejected, Chelsea are ready to increase their offer for the England international.

But Mourinho, speaking during his club’s US tour, said: “We don’t need other players – we trust these players.”

Meanwhile, Brentford are being tipped to beat German club Schalke to the signing of IFK Gothenburg striker Lasse Vibe.

Reports in Sweden suggest the 28-year-old, who Swansea apparently tried to sign in January, prefers a move to England.

The Daily Mail believes Fulham are working on a £1m move for Standard Liege midfielder Adrien Trebel, 24.

And The Sun claims the Whites missed out on signing Manchester United youngster Reece James, who has joined Wigan.
