Fulham v Wolves player ratings

It was a hugely disappointing night for Fulham at Craven Cottage. Here’s how we rated the Whites players in their 3-0 defeat against Wolves.

Andy Lonergan: 5
A great night’s work undone by a howler for Wolves’ second goal. Allowed a low shot to creep through his legs. Some great shot-stopping in the first half forgotten in an instant.

Ryan Fredericks: 5
Well below his explosive best after feeling a groin twinge that forced him off before the end. Suffered during Wolves’ second-half onslaught down his flank.

Richard Stearman: 7
Steady at the back against his former club for the most part, though might have done better for the first goal when Sheyi Ojo was not closed down.

Tim Ream: 6
Gave away the free-kick from which Wolves grabbed their third, but battled gamely until the end. Not an easy night for him,

James Husband: 6
Got up in support of attacks well until the red card to Tom Cairney, then found himself among the over-worked during a one-sided second half.

Jamie O’Hara: 6
Booed throughout by visiting fans, the former Wolves midfielder was at the centre of operations when Fulham were on the front foot but that spell did not last long enough.

Ryan Tunnicliffe: 7
Showed plenty of steel and verve in a losing cause. One of Fulham’s best players, but even he hit a few stray passes and did not do enough to prevent the first Wolves goal.

Ben Pringle: 6
Struggled to impose himself, but he was not alone in that. Did his best to make a nuisance of himself and his energy levels could not be faulted.

Tom Cairney: 5
Maybe a bit unlucky to be sent off, but the challenge on Adam Le Fondre, though devoid of malice, was ill-advised and in an unimportant part of the pitch. Should have been more canny.

Moussa Dembele: 7
Worked tirelessly in the thankless role of lone striker once Ross McCormack disappeared. Always persevering, he was one of the few plus points on a hugely disappointing night for Kit Symons’ men and his raw talent still shone.

Ross McCormack: 6
The skipper had little option but to help shore up midfield once Cairney had departed and it robbed the Whites of a man in good form at the business end of the pitch.

Lasse Vigen Christensen: 6
Came on for Pringle on the hour but was unable to arrest the Wolves tide sweeping towards the Putney End with monotonous regularity.
