Chelsea’s Chalobah reportedly discussing Bordeaux loan move

Chelsea’s Nathaniel Chalobah is said to be close to joining Bordeaux on loan.

The Daily Mail reports that the French club are in talks to sign Chalobah, 20, following his recent return from an unproductive loan spell at Burnley.

Petr Cech continues to be linked with a move to Roma despite Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insisting the goalkeeper will not be leaving Stamford Bridge.

Following Italian media reports that the Serie A club remain keen to sign Cech, the Daily Mirror say Roma are confident of getting him because it is believed Chelsea would rather he went abroad than joined another English club.

The Mail, meanwhile, say Roma have made an approach for Cech, 32, about a possible deal.

There continues to be speculation that Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi could be on his way to Chelsea.

And reports in Ramires’ native Brazil suggest the Chelsea midfielder is keen to stay with the Blues despite him being linked with a move.
