Chelsea among clubs linked with Birmingham City prospect Martin

Chelsea are among the clubs interested in Birmingham City’s 15-year-old centre-back Josh Martin, the Daily Star Sunday say.

Manchester United are said to have joined the Blues, Arsenal and Liverpool in a race to sign the highly-rated youngster.

The Star also say Chelsea’s Ramires is Juventus’ top transfer target and that Manchester City are looking to beat Chelsea to the signing of Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke.

Meanwhile, it is suggested in the Mail on Sunday that Liverpool are seriously considering a January move for Fernando Torres.

The former Reds striker is on a two-year loan at AC Milan from Chelsea but there has been speculation that he could make an early exit from the San Siro.

And The Sun on Sunday reports that Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been given a crash course in dealing with the kind of aerial threat Stoke are expected to pose on Monday evening.
