Chelsea want German prospect – report

Chelsea have again been linked with highly-rated German youngster Julian Brandt, this time by the Daily Mirror.

Liverpool are also said to be interested in the 18-year-old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, who was reported to be a Blues target earlier this year.

Both clubs are said to have sent scouts to see him in action and Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has been to Germany to watch Leverkusen.

It is claimed that Chelsea are now also showing a strong interest in Brandt, who has been touted as one of the best young players in Europe.
