Blues should beat Swans but QPR surely have no chance at United

Chelsea return to action against Swansea after the international break with arguably the most settled squad in the Premier League.charlie-mcCann_Aff

Whilst managers up and down the country were scurrying around with last-minute deals, Blues boss Jose Mourinho was left presumably with his feet up.

It’s been a good transfer window for Chelsea. The void left by Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Demba Ba and Fernando Torres has been filled by Filipe Luis, Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Loic Remy.

And after an excellent start to the new season, BetVictor make the Blues 4/5 favourites for the title. We’re also asking punters what they think of Chelsea’s trophy prospects this season and bet:

Chelsea to win a trophy: 1/3
To win nothing: 9/4
Premier League and FA Cup: 7/1
Premier League and League Cup: 7/1
Premier League and Champions League: 33/1

Mourinho’s side can maintain their 100% start to the season when hosting Swansea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Swans are the only other side to have started the new season with three league wins, but they are 11/1 underdogs to achieve an improbable victory.

Chelsea are 3/10 and the draw 9/2 with BetVictor, and they look excellent value to win the game to nil at even-money.

A repeat of the win against Leicester and the 2-0 correct score is 11/2.

There’s a much stiffer task for Harry Redknapp, who takes his QPR side to big-spending Manchester United.

Louis Van Gaal splashed the cash during the transfer window and looks set to hand debuts to Danny Blind, Marcos Rojo and Radamel Falcao, with the latter fancied to score plenty of goals in his maiden year in English football.

United are 2/7 favourites with BetVictor, QPR 12/1 and the draw 19/4.

Falcao is 16/1 to be the Premier League’s Golden Boot winner and arrives with an excellent strike rate – better than a goal every other game.

The Colombian missed the World Cup through injury but has already netted twice for Monaco in France this season and is 7/2 to score the opener on his debut and 5/6 to score at any time.
