Chelsea reported to have made offer for Germany star Khedira

Real Madrid midfielder Sami Kherdira has again been linked with a potential move to Chelsea, this time by the Daily Mirror.

The German’s contract expires at the end of the season and Real are said to be ready to sell him in January, with the Blues, Arsenal and Liverpool apparently interested.

Khedira, who played under Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho at the Bernabéu, reportedly wants a move to the Premier League.

Metro pick up on a report on Spanish news website Fichajes which claimed Chelsea have made an offer for Khedira and are confident of beating Arsenal to his signing.

Meanwhile, Stoke chairman Peter Coates has played down reports his club are looking to sign on-loan Chelsea man Victor Moses on a permanent basis.

Coates told The Sentinel: “Although we are delighted with the start he has made for us, it is still very early days and so where that one goes I have no idea.

“We haven’t even discussed it yet because we are so early into the season and such a lot can happen, so there is no sense of urgency.”
